Blade / Projecting Signs – Illuminated
Illuminated Blade / Projecting Signs are bracket-mounted, double-sided illuminated signs designed to extend outward from a building façade for maximum street and sidewalk visibility.
Unlike flat wall signs, these signs project perpendicular to the building, allowing customers approaching from either direction to see the branding clearly.
The structural bracket is securely mounted to the wall, and a welded support rod extends outward to hold the sign cabinet. In some configurations, the cabinet is directly attached to the rod; in others, it may hang using secure metal chain suspension.
These illuminated blade signs feature a minimum cabinet depth of 2.5 inches, allowing sufficient internal space for LED lighting components.
The cabinet is typically fabricated from aluminum or steel, with double-sided faces constructed from acrylic or polycarbonate panels. Internal LED modules provide even illumination across both faces.
