Blade / Projecting Signs – Illuminated

Double-Sided LED Storefront Signs for Maximum Pedestrian Visibility

Illuminated Blade Signs, also known as LED Projecting Signs, are bracket-mounted, double-sided illuminated signage systems designed to extend outward from a building façade. Mounted perpendicular to the wall, these signs provide strong visibility from both directions of pedestrian and street traffic.

Combining architectural bracket support with internally illuminated LED cabinet construction, illuminated blade signs are ideal for commercial storefront branding in high-foot-traffic environments.

What Is an Illuminated Blade Sign?

An illuminated blade sign consists of:

  • A wall-mounted structural bracket

  • A welded metal support rod

  • A fabricated metal cabinet (minimum 2.5" depth)

  • Double-sided illuminated faces

  • Internal LED modules

  • Integrated power supply

Because the sign projects at a 90-degree angle from the building, it remains highly visible to customers approaching from either direction.

Unlike non-illuminated blade signs, this version features internal LED lighting for enhanced nighttime visibility.

Key Features

  • Bracket-mounted perpendicular wall design

  • Double-sided illuminated display

  • Minimum cabinet depth: 2.5 inches

  • Internal LED modules for face illumination

  • Fabricated aluminum or steel cabinet

  • UL Certified LED components

  • Indoor and outdoor rated

  • Powder-coated weather-resistant finish

  • High pedestrian visibility

  • Fixed or chain-hung configuration options

Construction & Illumination

Structural Assembly

The bracket is securely mounted to the building structure using heavy-duty anchors. A welded support rod extends outward to support the sign cabinet.

Two configuration styles are available:

  • Fixed Mount: Cabinet attached directly to welded rod

  • Chain-Hung Mount: Cabinet suspended from rod using metal chains

Cabinet Construction

  • Fabricated aluminum or steel body

  • Minimum depth of 2.5 inches

  • Double-sided acrylic or polycarbonate faces

  • Powder-coated exterior finish for weather resistance

Illumination System

  • Internal LED modules (face-lit configuration)

  • Even light distribution across both faces

  • Low-voltage LED system

  • UL Certified LED components and driver

LED lighting provides consistent brightness while minimizing energy consumption and maintenance.
